service learning (:

I L-O-V-E service learning. (:
i love it. honestly!

i wasnt all hyped about going for service learning right after community work YESTERDAY. in fact, i felt like sleeping some more?
reached school at 7.03 am.. waited till adeline, liy, sheila and wanting reached school.
then we got a lift. (: mr CHANG. xin en's dad. teehee! a school head! ((:
cool ah.
we were DAMN SCARED at first, when we just reached CCAB. we were all 'what if's. heh.
but it turned out pretty dandy, yey!
and we each got a free SDSC cap & shirt. (: yey uniform. haha. ( i felt like golfing. heheh. sheila/liy said i looked like a tennis player minus colour :" . -but later on sheila said i looked like a florist. wahh. so hot man. x)
anyway, there were sooo many meridian/ catholic JC students. SOOO MANY.
and just six pathetic inexperienced scared RG girls. (ohyeah, that's us)

the first buncha races werent that tiring. just a short distance to walk, plus the kids hardly have trouble getting out and they dont have any towels or personal belongings so yeah. didnt do much.
but when we got to the big pool. whoowhee. -.-
the sun was pretty high up by then.
it was so HOT out there. ):
oh yeah. and hot too, kan sheila, liy? heheheee. (:
the un-mat, the photographer & the DJ dude (that one's for you, sheila x)
and i LOVE our SL group, my goodness la. sheila, liy, xin en, wanting, adeline. (:
& they're all damn funnyyyyyyy!!!! ((:
and so we kept ourselves entertained.
plus it was pretty fun walking up and down by the pool, handing towels to the swimmers. (:
& doing a coupla other stuff... (sightseeing with sheila.)

oooh and i LOVED the music they played. not a single song repeated throughout the entire competition. liy did you steal the CDs?
they're all like songs you can either sing or dance to (wait. that's a duh. teehee). well they were nice songs. (: funky oldies to hot new ones!
and the kids were all DANCING! xD wooohh!
like, they were all swinging their arms or kicking the air or linking hands to shoulders (with another guy in the middle? liy, you saw that x) and oohhmygosh they were so high & happyyy!
(((((: felt so GOOD watching them.
and this guy was prasaning on the mike. my goooshh so cuute.
especially when they danced to sex bomb!!!! my gawd with all the booty shaking/bumping & ahhhhhh. & more booty dancing when ricky martin came on.
and some were BREAKDANCING. and this dude just did a series of cartwheels in front of us, like WHOO. he's a special kid, but not really like physically disabled or anything.
and this guy just stopped dancing and came over to us? and he stuck out his hand?
like as if he wanted to ask us to dance? liy was like "cheekopekkkk" but NO, liy. NO. he just shook all our hands! ((: ahhhh, so nice & sweet & omg.
then these two boys.
one took off his shirt & wiped his wet (with what, you ask) torso.
then he was alllll done, so he offered shirt cum sweatball to his friend. heheee. how generous. awww. liy laughed till she teareddd.

even the FOOD was nice la please (:

oh yeah. Mr. Ben, the organiser? he was the one whom sheila smsed & emailed all along.
and he was deaf. no wonder he never called. & we were (admittedly) kinda shocked.
we should never underestimate. sigh. friendly dude. Johnny ("i'm not that old, only twice your age") was real friendly too. (he also said painfully lame things x)

ohmyy, i loved every single wet hot (wet as in sweat, hot as in sun) minute of it! oooh.
even the part when i had to push the girl in the (needs to be oiled to prevent squeaking sound) wheelchair? yeah.. and earlier when the extremely adorable twins were about to swim? "eat shit" said one to the other, before the race began. xP hilarious! they're like teensy yet.. tsk tsk tsk. ohyeah. never underestimate. hahaaaa.

it was SO darn HOT, now my skin's all chocolate vanilla.
you should SEE la. my arm has two shades. my legs, three. my neck has two shades! & you'd freak if you saw my arm against my thigh. ew. chocolate vanilla i tell youuuu. my dad told me i looked like a sotong (squid. although i dont see the connection? between looking like a squid & being burnt in the sun? i thought maybe, lobster or something, would do.)

i think that's about it. (: basically i loved SL. i think you got the picture like aaages ago. teehee.
